CasinoBit.io is a crypto-only casino that opened in 2020. We scored it 2 out of 10, and this review exists mainly to explain why, because the reasons are not obvious from the site itself.

It holds no licence from any regulator

This is the part that matters most and the part CasinoBit does not tell you. The site publishes no licence number and names no regulator. The independent complaints database Casino.guru states it plainly: "To the best of our knowledge, CasinoBit.io has not been granted a license by any gambling regulatory authority." We could not find one either.

Some crypto casinos operate under light-touch licences from Anjouan or Costa Rica, which offer thin protection but at least give you somewhere to complain. CasinoBit has none of that. If it decides not to pay you, there is no authority to escalate to, no dispute body with jurisdiction, and no licence that can be suspended. Your only leverage is public pressure.

What players report

Casino.guru rates CasinoBit's complaints record "Very bad": nine complaints in total, of which three remain unresolved, two were resolved and four were rejected. Its overall verdict is a Safety Index of 0.9 out of 10, described as "Very low", with the note that the score "shows serious concerns about its fairness and safety".

It also flags the terms and conditions as unfair, with a specific clause identified: "Unfair or predatory rules can potentially be used against players to justify not paying out winnings to them." That is the mechanism to worry about with an unlicensed operator. The problem is rarely a casino that refuses outright; it is a casino that finds a clause.

The bonus, and why 40x is the whole story

The welcome offer is spread over three deposits: 110% up to 1 BTC, then 80% up to 1.5 BTC, then 55% up to 2 BTC, plus a 10% cashback. Those are large headline numbers, and they carry a 40x wagering requirement.

Work out what 40x means before the number impresses you. On a modest 0.01 BTC first deposit, the 110% match gives you 0.011 BTC in bonus funds, and clearing it means wagering roughly 0.44 BTC in total turnover. At a typical slot house edge you would expect to lose a significant part of your balance simply getting there. A 40x requirement is not unusual in the industry, but combined with no licence and terms already judged unfair, it is the wrong combination: the requirement gives the operator a long window in which to apply a clause.

One correction to reviews you will find elsewhere, including our own earlier version: CasinoBit is often said to work with Evolution Gaming. The live-dealer supplier here is Ezugi. Ezugi belongs to the Evolution group, but it is a different product with a different studio line-up, and the distinction matters if you came looking for a specific Evolution table.

Deposits and languages

Six cryptocurrencies are accepted: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple, BNB and USDT. There is no fiat option. The interface is available in English, German, French, Italian and Russian. Ownership is not disclosed anywhere on the site, which is consistent with the absence of a licence: no regulator requires the company behind it to be named.

Our verdict

We are not telling you it is a scam, and we have no evidence that it is. We are telling you what is verifiable: no licence from any regulator, an independent safety rating of 0.9 out of 10, three unresolved complaints, terms that an independent body considers unfair, and a 40x requirement on the bonus that would keep your money in play for a long time.
