Gamdom has been running since 2016, which in this industry counts as old, and it carries the joint-highest independent safety rating in our comparison. It also sits under the lightest regulator in use. Both facts are true at once, and that combination is the whole story.

Who runs it and under what licence

Gamdom's own site states that it is "owned and operated by Moon Revolution Limitada", a Costa Rican company, operating "under licence number ALSI-152406043-FI issued by the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros".

Credit where it is due: both the company and the licence number are published, which is more than several better-known brands manage. We also checked the Curaçao register and Moon Revolution Limitada is not there — correctly, because Gamdom is not claiming a Curaçao licence.

What an Anjouan licence means in practice: it is the lightest of the jurisdictions crypto casinos use. Since 2026 Anjouan requires every licensee to have a designated dispute-resolution body, and assigns one if the operator does not. That is a real improvement over what came before. But unlike Malta, where a ruling in the player's favour binds the operator, in Anjouan honouring the outcome depends largely on the operator's willingness. And the operating company is Costa Rican, where there is no gambling regulator at all — companies incorporate there, they are not supervised there. So the seal carries little, and the operator's own record carries almost everything.

Ten years of trading with one outstanding dispute is exactly the kind of behaviour that has to substitute for a strong regulator, and here it does.
