FortuneJack has been trading since 2014 and has one of the better independent safety ratings in this comparison. It is also the site where we ran out of ways to verify the one thing that matters most, and we are going to say so rather than pretend otherwise.
There is no licence, and now we can say that plainly
FortuneJack's own footer states that the site "is operated by PlayWave SRL, registration number: 3-102-914970, registered address: Costa Rica, San José, Santa Ana, Pozos, Alto de Las Palomas". That is a company registration, and it is the only credential on the page.
No gambling licence is named anywhere. Not a number, not a jurisdiction, not a regulator. We also checked the Curaçao Gaming Authority register updated 6 August 2026: PlayWave SRL is not in it, which is consistent, because FortuneJack does not claim a Curaçao licence.
Costa Rica is the part that matters. Companies incorporate there and run gambling sites from there, but the country has no gambling regulator at all. There is no register to check, no complaints body with jurisdiction over the operator and no licence that could be suspended. If FortuneJack ever stopped paying, the only pressure available to you would be public.
What the record says
Casino.guru rates the Safety Index 8.7 out of 10, with 12 resolved, 40 rejected, 3 currently open and zero unresolved complaints out of 55. Eleven years of trading with an empty unresolved column is a genuinely good behavioural record, and it is the reason this scores above the middle of our list rather than at the bottom.
Games
Casino.guru counts 50 game providers. FortuneJack keeps the crypto-native character it started with: dice and provably fair originals alongside slots and live tables.
Why 6.0
We started from the 8.7 independent index and took off nearly three points for operating with no licence at all. That is a bigger deduction than MyStake gets, and the reason is the difference between "we could not find it" and "it is not there": MyStake blocks our checks, FortuneJack publishes its credentials and a licence is not among them. Eleven years and an empty unresolved column are why it still sits above the bottom of our list rather than at it.
Meanwhile, treat it as an unlicensed operator would be treated: deposit only what you would be relaxed about never seeing again, and read responsible gambling first.
