Teen Patti is the three-card game played across South Asia, and in a casino it becomes a game with one threshold to memorise. That threshold is worth more than everything else on this page.
Three cards changes the hand rankings
The first thing that surprises players from five-card poker: a straight beats a flush in three-card games, and three of a kind beats both. That is not a house rule, it is arithmetic — with only three cards, a flush is easier to make than a straight, so it ranks lower.
Getting this backwards is the most common error at the table, and it leads people to fold hands that were winners.
The threshold
In the standard casino form of three-card poker, correct strategy compresses to a single line: play queen-six-four or better, fold everything below. That one rule captures nearly all the value available to a player, which makes it the best return on memorisation anywhere in a casino.
Evoplay publishes no RTP for this title; in a table game the rules and the paytable are the return. Read the paytable, because the payouts for the top hands vary between operators and they move the number.
The side bets
Three-card games almost always carry a pair-plus or bonus wager alongside the main bet. As a category these carry a considerably worse edge than the base game, and they are marketed on their headline multiples rather than their frequency. We have not verified this specific paytable, so check it rather than trusting a general claim.
Is it rigged?
The deal comes from a generator tested by independent laboratories before Evoplay can supply an operator. That covers the cards and stops there — our comparison ranks casinos by licence in public registers and by unresolved complaints.
Practise it free
Play thirty hands applying the queen-six-four threshold strictly, even when a hand feels better than it is. Thirty hands is roughly how long it takes for the rule to stop feeling arbitrary.
