Crypto dice is the oldest game on the blockchain and still the most honest one, for a reason that has nothing to do with the dice: you can prove the roll was not tampered with, yourself, after the fact.
How it works
You choose a target number and whether to roll above or below it. The payout adjusts to the chance you have taken — pick a 95% chance and you are paid barely more than your stake; pick a 2% chance and the multiplier is large. There is no theme, no feature and no second decision.
That slider is the entire game, and it is why dice suits people who want to choose their own volatility rather than accept whatever a slot designer decided.
Verifying the roll yourself
This is a provably fair game, which is a specific mechanism and not a slogan:
Before the roll, the server publishes a hash of its secret seed. The hash is public; the seed is not.
You supply your own client seed, which the server cannot predict.
The roll is computed from both seeds together.
Afterwards the server reveals its seed. You hash it and check it matches what was published before you bet.
If the operator had changed the outcome after seeing your bet, the hash would not match. That is a stronger guarantee than any regulator can offer, because it does not require trusting anyone — including us.
What it does not prove is that the casino will let you withdraw. Provable rolls and reliable payouts are separate promises; our comparison covers the second by licence and unresolved complaints.
Is there a strategy?
No, and dice attracts more systems than any other crypto game. The martingale, doubling after every loss, is the popular one and it fails for the reason it always fails: the losing streak that clears your balance is not unlikely, it is guaranteed given enough rolls. Playing at 95% win chance makes it feel safe, which is precisely what makes it dangerous — the rare loss is large.
The house edge is constant across every setting on the slider. Choosing a 2% chance or a 98% one changes how bumpy the ride is and changes nothing about the expected cost.
Play it free
The demo runs identical maths. Do the verification once on a demo roll — copy the seed, hash it, compare. It takes a few minutes and it is the difference between believing “provably fair” and knowing what it means.
Where to play it
Betsolutions supplies crypto casinos and the game is identical wherever it runs. Its neighbours are the other provably fair and dice titles.
