Winz.io does something almost nobody in this industry does: it advertises wager-free bonuses. If that claim holds, it removes the single most common trap in crypto gambling. It also does something that undercuts its own case, which is claim two licences without publishing either number.
The licence claim, and what is missing from it
Winz.io's own site states that it is "a legitimate and safe online casino with a licence delivered by Anjouan and Tobique". The operating company, according to the independent record at Casino.guru, is Novatrix S.R.L.
That is where the trail stops. No licence number is published for either jurisdiction. We checked the Curaçao register — correctly absent, since Curaçao is not claimed. Anjouan and Tobique do not publish consultable registers of the kind Curaçao does, so a claim with no number attached cannot be checked by anyone, including us. Compare that with BitStarz or BetFury, which print the number and let you look it up.
This is not an accusation that the licences do not exist. It is the observation that "we are licensed" without a number is a statement you are asked to take on trust, from the one party with an interest in it.
Where it earns its score: the complaint record
Casino.guru rates Winz.io's Safety Index 8.2 out of 10, with 22 resolved, 58 rejected and zero unresolved complaints out of 80. Five years of trading with an empty unresolved column is a strong behavioural signal, and here it is doing the work the paperwork should be doing.
Wager-free, and why it matters more than any bonus size
Most welcome offers are worth a fraction of their headline because of the wagering requirement attached. A 100% match at 40x means turning over forty times the bonus before withdrawing, and at a normal slot house edge most of it is gone before you get there. A genuinely wager-free bonus is worth its face value. Confirm the current terms in support chat before depositing — the model is the reason to consider this site, so it is the thing worth checking.
Games and coins
Casino.guru counts 103 game providers, second only to Cloudbet in our comparison, on the SOFTSWISS platform. Coins named on the site include Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, USDT, XRP, TRON, BNB, Solana, Cardano and Bitcoin Cash. Note that deposit and withdrawal fees are possible here, which is unusual among crypto-first sites.
Why 7.6
An 8.2 independent index, a clean dispute record and a bonus model that actually favours the player, marked down because the licensing claim cannot be verified by anyone outside the company. If Winz.io published its licence numbers, this would rank close to the top of our list.
